Meet Josh Cruey
Joshua Cruey is the owner of Crue Built, LLC, doing business as Texas Arched Cabins, and is based in Cypress, Texas. He and his wife, Rachael, are proud parents raising five children together. In addition to running the business, Joshua has served as a professional firefighter since 2011 with the largest fire department in Texas—also the fourth-largest in the United States.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Joshua is an avid ice hockey player and currently competes with his department’s hockey team in local leagues and tournaments throughout the Houston area. His hobbies include rock collecting, arrowhead hunting, fitness, leatherworking, metal fabrication, and creating art.
Joshua is deeply passionate about making affordable housing more accessible through Texas Arched Cabins. He remains committed to helping as many individuals and families as possible achieve their dream of homeownership.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website. I began developing the Arched Cabins website and leading our marketing efforts in 2013–2014, and have continued to do so as interest in Arched Cabins has grown steadily. Together with my wife, Rachael, we operate Texas Arched Cabins—Rachael oversees all office operations and customer communications, while I manage fabrication and logistics. With a background in fabrication and construction dating back to the late 1990s, I have personally led hands-on build teams for over 100 Arched Cabins. Since 2014, I have continuously refined our building process to make it easier for customers to construct their own Arched Cabin. We truly appreciate your interest in our work and are honored to be part of your journey—whether you’re building a vacation home, primary residence, investment property, or the creative retreat you've always dreamed of.
